Dear Readers,
I have persuaded my B.Tech from JB INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY DEHRADUN in ECE in 2013 (affiliated to UTTARAKHAND TECHNICAL UNIVERSITY). But I couldnt secure any good placements from my college as the college was new and companies that came to my college for campus placements couldnt offer the jobs desired by me. So I decided to go for banking preparations as this sector has far better opportunities and growth prospects.

For that first I gave RBI Assistant exam in the month of June but couldnt qualify in written due to less no of vacancies and non familiarity with the online pattern of bank exams.

At that time I had also cleared written and interview of AXIS BANK Young Bankers Exam but didn't join it due to the fees associated with the 10 months course at Sikkim Manipal Campus. This gave me confidence that if I can crack this then I can also crack IBPS. I made a study plan and studied for approx. 4-5 hours daily focussing on my weak points and building my speed. I didnt join any coaching but I regularly took help of websites like bankersadda, and Wikipedia.

During my banking preparations I also gave exams for MBA like CAT, CMAT, MAT since I thought that if I didn't qualify for BANK PO, then I would go for MBA as a backup (although I was confident to crack Bank PO). I got 99 percentile in MAT, 97 percentile in CMAT and 92 percentile in CAT.

But the biggest achievement for me was when I cleared both IBPS PO as well as Clerical Exam, so no need to go for MBA now. I finally got the job as a PO in Dena Bank.

In the end, I would like to thank my parents to have faith in me, my elder brother who helped me giving motivation that I can crack this exam without any coaching and also my friends for supporting me. I would like to tell the readers here that if you really want something in life just go for it and success will find you sooner or later.

Thank you All!! Thank you Bankersadda.
