Dear BA,

First of all I would like to thank my parents who have been a great support and Bankers adda for guiding Banking aspirants in the best possible way. Seriously you people make an excellent team. There are many other websites for bank preparation but nothing even comes close to BA.
BA is to bank prep what Google is to search engines.

I am Viknesh from Tirunelveli, a relatively small city in TN famous for its sweet Tirunelveli halwa. I completed BE in 2013 and got placement in a Civil MNC in campus placements. After orientation program at Mumbai, I was alotted Chennai posting and i was very happy.Things seemed to be going well and suddenly i got this deadly Typhoid and was forced to take rest for a month. Since it was a private company they said we have no option now as you lost training period  and so you should quit. I resigned the job and was completely devastated.

I was determined to do something big and joined a local coaching centre for Bank exams. SBI capsule in Google search led me to BA website and from then on the whole perspective of approach towards bank exams changed. The site was awesome. The comments section had some excellent minds discussing some awesome stuff about banking and GA. Mods like Shruti mam and Neeraj Sir are beacon lights for banking aspirants. I missed SBI PO written though i got 90/200 in written, I missed DI cut off. The Defeat only made me more hungry for success and I started putting in more hours of work and a smarter approach than SBI PO. BA capsules were very helpful for GA section.

Finally the D-DAY arrived.Sep 24,2014. RBI asst exam for me. I can still remember watching Mangalyaan Success in News before going to exam. I attempted 186 and was confident of getting 150 -170 score .Chennai results were delayed which made me more anxious. Finally cleared written with 160 marks with medium accuracy. Attended Interview confidently and final results came on 31st dec eve making 2015 the best year of my life.

RBI Assitant in Chennai -A Job in The central bank -The one about which we learned in capsules-boy what more can you ask for-I am very happy about getting job in Chennai obviously because of home state and also the city has been emotionally close to me.....:)

During preparation not a single day passed without feeling sad in bed before sleep. Finally everything came good.My sincere advice to all banking aspirants is to work hard and at the same time smart work is the order of the day.Learn basic concepts and tricks form various sources in net and also follow BA every single day.Learn atleast 30 to 40  curr. aff. daily.I once again thanks bankersadda and their team for making this a reality.

Happy New Year 2015 friends...May this year bring you everything you craved for....

Always remember, Patience has its reward!

My wife and I have built a new home with a lovely garden which houses lovely bamboo trees. I got reading on the Chinese bamboo and learned that the tree takes 5 years, 3 months to grow to its whole height of 80 feet. Yet, for the first 5 years, you can only see a tiny green shoot, but in the next 90 days, it grows into a full-fledged tree. But in those first 60 months, it is growing its strong network of roots underground, to support the tree. In an era of instant gratification, we settle for shorter trees, but remember patience has its reward. These are your years of growing that strong network of roots but be sure when you finally achieve your success, people will call it 'overnight success'. If only they knew of the Chinese bamboo!"

We are proud of you Viknesh!!!
